Why I Started This Blog
In 2022-23, I was planning a Father’s Day celebration and found myself frustrated. The gift guides were full of products nobody actually wanted. The party tips were vague. And the “helpful” checklists were just copied from other checklists.
That frustration became MyEventTips.
I wanted to create a blog that actually answers the questions people are Googling at 11pm — “what’s a good last-minute gift for Mom,” “how do I decorate for Halloween on a budget,” “what should I serve at a Thanksgiving dinner for 20 people.”
That’s exactly what you’ll find here. Practical, honest, well-researched answers — written like I’m talking to a friend, not writing for a search engine.
